If you’ve come this far, it’s because you’re one of those people who get active every week by having breakfast with honey, or in other words, you’re a Honeyenial! But do you know how it is made? Well, here we tell you how our friends, the bees, do something as incredible as turning flower nectar into that natural food that makes your favourite breakfast taste even better. Are you ready?
It all starts when the bees absorb the nectar from the flowers, and return to the hive to hand it over to the worker bees, who dehydrate it for days until it becomes honey – quite a job!
During this transformation process, thousands of young bees pass the nectar from one to another, enriching it, and then deposit it in the cells.
Once ready, the honey is extracted by centrifugation, and with great care not to break the cells, so that the bees don’t have to rebuild them, and can focus on other tasks in the hive.
AND NOW WE HAVE HONEY READY TO REACH EVERY HOUSEHOLD IN EUROPE!
